Cancellation Policy – Letango Tours

Letango Tours

Cancellation Policy

We understand plans change. Our policy is designed to be fair to both you and the guides, hotels, and suppliers we commit to on your behalf.

Applies to bookings of a single-day tour — private guide, entrance tickets, and/or local transport. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to tours@letango.com.
Notice given Refund
More than 7 days before Full refund*
3–7 days before 50% refund*
Less than 72 hours No refund
No-show No refund

* Pre-purchased skip-the-line tickets and museum reservations are non-refundable regardless of notice period, as these are committed to venues in advance.

Applies to itineraries of two or more days that include hotels, intercity transport, guides, and/or activities. Because we commit to suppliers early on your behalf, longer notice periods apply. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to tours@letango.com.
Notice given Cancellation fee
More than 45 days 20% of total booking value Covers itinerary design, research & reservations already made
30–45 days 35% of total booking value
15–29 days 50% of total booking value
Less than 15 days 100% — no refund
No-show 100% — no refund

Custom itineraries and peak season departures (July, August, Christmas week, Easter) may carry stricter terms due to non-recoverable hotel commitments. Any exceptions are stated clearly in your quote and take precedence.

How do I cancel?

Send a written cancellation request to tours@letango.com. The date we receive your email determines which tier applies. We do not accept verbal cancellations by phone.

What if Letango cancels my tour?

In the rare event we cancel due to insufficient participants, safety concerns, or a Force Majeure event, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid. We are not responsible for non-refundable flights or accommodation booked independently.

Can I reschedule instead of cancelling?

We will always try to accommodate date changes. Rescheduling requests made more than 30 days before departure are generally possible at no charge, subject to availability. Changes within 30 days are treated as a cancellation and rebooking.

Does travel insurance cover cancellation fees?

A comprehensive travel insurance policy with trip cancellation cover usually reimburses cancellation fees for covered reasons. We strongly recommend purchasing insurance at the time of booking. See our full Terms & Conditions for details.
