The Historic Madrid Tour is unique in that rather than just talk about the city's history, it introduces you to some of the its oldest establishments. We'll stroll through the historic center, stopping in centuries-old restaurants, artisan workshops, pastry shops, taverns and more along the way.  You'll have a chance to shop, sample, and learn about these fascinating places and products, now old standbys of this ever-changing capital.

Though Madrid is Spain's capital and largest city, it often feels like a smaller town. Its friendly locals and welcoming atmosphere make visitors return again and again. The Prado Museum is a gem for art lovers--as are the Reina Sofia and Thyssen museums and the Royal Palace--and the city's many public parks and squares invite strolling and relaxing at any time of year. Madrid is famous for its nightlife, and options range from fabulous restaurants to theater and concerts, from flamenco shows and tapas to all-night dancing.
