Terms and Conditions
For day tours: Cancellation of hotels, Paradors, and Pousadas: A €25 cancellation fee is applied for each cancelled or changed reservation on any parador, pousada or hotel after client has agreed to the booking. If the client wishes to cancel a reservation, full refund, minus the cancellation fee, will be made on all cancellations received 72 hours or more before scheduled arrival. For any cancellations, client will notify LETANGO SPAIN S.L. within 72 hours of the scheduled arrival. Client will be responsible for payment for last minute cancellations. For hotels, no refund will be made for cancellations received less than 72 hours before scheduled arrival. Some hotels, pousadas, and paradors require more andvanced notice of cancellation and client will be provided this information with their voucher. Client is responsible for contacting Letango Spain Travel Services in the event that they need to cancel a hotel. Hotel Bookings: LETANGO SPAIN S.L. only books hotels that we work with or have an arrangement with for our clients. Most of our hotels will be within a 3-5 star range, both within quality and price. We have researched these hotels extensively and feel confident that you will be satisfied with what we choose for you. All are very centrally located. We can also book other hotels under special circumstances, for example, when you have an early flight and need to be near an airport. Please let us know if you have any special requests. Once a booking is made for a client and the client agrees to the booking, the hotel is prepaid. All hotels are prepaid for the client by LETANGO SPAIN S.L. Our clients will be provided reservation numbers or vouchers for each hotel that will be presented upon check-in to the hotel. These reservation numbers or vouchers will be accepted by the hotels as your payment. Although the voucher system is not common in the U.S., it is standard in Spain and Portugal. When you receive your reservation number or vouchers from us, please check them for accuracy. Contact us immediately if you find any discrepancies. Waiver: In certain circumstances, we will ask you to sign a release form waiving LETANGO SPAIN S.L. from liability in any event. Communications: All our communications with clients are via email. If you have an urgent matter, you can call us at 1-866-866-5107 and we will call you back. Your invoice and payment receipt will be emailed to you. Physical Condition : Our tours will include lots of walking and sightseeing. While our day tours will never exceed walking 3 miles, we ask that you be prepared to climb hills and steps with the guide. Bring comfortable shoes as some of the city streets are paved in cobblestone. While the weather in Spain is often nice, it's important to bring appropriate weather gear in case of rain. During summer months, hydration and sun protection are highly encouraged. If you have special needs, please let us know. For individuals with physical disabilities, we will do our best to accommodate you. Modification of tours and itineraries: We reserve the right to modify a tour or itinerary due to reasons beyond our control. Guided Tours: We have guides in all parts of the country. We lead some tours ourselves and we have a team of guides that work with us. These are guides we have interviewed and researched and who understand clearly our approach to travel. In many cases, when travelling to different destinations outside of Madrid, the guide will meet you in that respective city for the duration of the tour. Local guides are not only extremely knowledgeable of their cities but are licensed to enter sites, monuments, and museums that will greatly enhance your tour. We reserve the right to change a guide in the last minute due to reasons beyond our control. We strongly recommend your feedback on our local guides. Transportation for day tours: Transportation will never be included during day tours unless it is clearly specified and arranged through Letango for the client. It will be very clearly understood between the two parties. Travel Insurance: Usually included in our package tours. Travel cancelation insurance is optional and recommended if you think there are chances you will have to canel your trip. Please inquire. Procedure for Customized Tour Packages Questionnaire: Clients will be emailed a comprehensive questionnaire to be returned before we start planning the itinerary. We ask you to be as detailed as possible in order for us to have all the information necessary to plan the best possible itinerary for you. Deposits and balance: A deposit is required in order for us to start working on your itinerary. Once the final proposal has been approved, finalized and sent to you, the balance of the itinerary fees is due. Itinerary fees are non refundable. We may require further deposits or your credit card in order to reserve planes, cars, shows and some hotels. How to reserve a tour: Fill out the reservation form and we will contact you to confirm your reservation and to make arrangements to take a 20% deposit. Happy Travels !! |
