Jen and Carlos founded Letango Tours in 1999. Since then, we have have planned vacations for thousands of people coming to Spain. Today we reside in Madrid where we have our business but we are on the road preparing trips and conducting them on a constant basis.

Cofounder of Letango, Carlos has traveled and lived in different continents for over 10 years. He has guided and participated in a TV series and Radio program with Rick Steves since 1999. He still does tours today. Today he spends a lot of time researching new hotels, activities, guides and studying the culture to share with you. Some pictures showing us in action. Born in Colorado, she lived in Seattle most of her life. Jen manages our customer service department and guides and prepares travel packages for our clients. She has now been living in Spain since 2002 after living here for a year in 1997. Raising kids in Spain has given her a wealth of information and insights she loves to share with the avid traveler. While learning the Spanish ways, she tries to maintain her home traditions. Jen with her group visiting the windmills of La Mancha, the land of Don Quijote.

Originally from Seattle, Stephanie fell in love with Spain after spending an undergraduate year abroad in Logroño, La Rioja. She came to Madrid in 2005 to get her Master's degree in Spanish and never left. She loves sharing Spanish culture--especially art, architecture, and food!--with visitors, and is exploring Spain's many birdwatching opportunities so she can share them as well. Below is Steph on a birdwatching trip. She is very talented with computers and graphic design and has produced materials for Letango Tours. She also enjoys travel writing and has written a good part of our descriptions.

Originally from Virginia, USA, she first came to Spain on a study abroad program in Valencia. Today she teaches English in a school in Madrid and writes for Letango Tour's website. She is passionate about Spain and its culture.

We select the best people to take care of you when you arrive in a city. They are licensed official guides who know, not only history and art, but also the customs and current events of their cities. Above all they are personable and easy to get along with.  We recognize them as Letango's most important asset. We can't list them all but here are some of them.

We select people who are passionate in their fields and know them in great detail. Whether it is a wine expert, pottery artisan or a birdwatcher, they enjoy sharing their knowledge with you. They are often the first ones representing our company. Our role is creating a liaison between you and them. Their knowledge and dedication help to make your trip the best!
